The new peer reviewed Australian e-Journal for the Advancement of Mental Health (AeJAMH) is now online.
This electronic journal is a publication of the Australian Network for the Promotion, Prevention and Early Intervention for Mental Health (Auseinet). AeJAMH is a free full text journal and will be published 4 times a year. Subscribe via the e-Journal web site.

The website is the Mental Health and Special Programs Branch. National Health and Medical Research Council
National Health and Medical Research Council: Publications Catalogue
The National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) consolidates within a single national organisation the often independent functions of research funding and development of advice. One of its strengths is that it brings together and draws upon the resources of all components of the health system, including governments, medical practitioners, nurses and allied health professionals, researchers, teaching and research institutions, public and private program managers, service administrators, community health organisations, social health researchers and consumers. The functions of the NHMRC come from the statutory obligations conferred by the National Health and Medical Research Council Act 1992.

The School Focused Youth Service (SFYS) is a statewide initiative of the Department of Education, Employment and Training and the Department of Human Services Victoria. infoXchange: youth
infoXchange is a Directory of Community Support Services-The Service Seeker We manage the most extensive, up-to-date human support services directory available in Victoria. The database contains information on over 22,000 services provided by over 10,000 agencies. This information is checked for currency at least every six months, primarily through direct contact with the service. The electronic directory, which is fully functional both on the Internet and 'standalone'¹ PC, has extensive search capabilities. It can be searched by a range of fields including by name, or characteristics of the service, or by the name of the providing agency, or by location including postcode, suburb, local government area or Department of Human Services Region. The database is managed through a rigorous updating schedule. This has included the development of an extensive style manual and a purpose built thesaurus, which enable a unique key word search facility. The updating of the database is carried out in a collaborative process with a range of agencies involved in community information provision. The maintenance and updating of community information is very labour intensive and collaboration will reduce the duplication and ensure the accuracy and extensiveness of the database.

It is currently implementing its Mental Health Plan through advocacy, networking, education, social marketing and the funding of innovative programs / projects. The Youthmentalhealth website was initially funded through VicHealth. The VicHealth website provides information about the range of VicHealth initiatives.
